Pg 1, New tables in the hallways foster student community
This article talks about the benefits of the new tables added to the hallways from the student's perspective. Students like these tables because they provide an area to charge their laptops and an area to sit. The only downside to these new tables is that they can get pretty crowded, so the student community requests to add more of them to the hallways and around campus.

Holiday With Mary: I really like this photo because it shows how great of actors they are and the emotion they put into their play. The lighting was cool in this photo too because it only lit up the actors but left the background black. This photo could use balance because there are two main subjects in the photo who balance each other out. The main subjects in this photo are senior Maddy Sparkes and Blake Pousson
Making an Impact: I liked this photo because it shows what Fen Hendon is doing to help out other people and adds diversity to the other photos surrounding it. This picture uses balance with having the two people in the photo balance each other on either side of the photo. I also like this photo because it has good exposure and has a deep depth of field.
The Final Touch: I liked this photo because it was different than the other pictures in the newspaper. It was a little bit dark and could be exposed better, but the only real thing I didn't like about it was how the excess stuff in the background of the photo took away from the main subject, the student in the middle. This photo is slightly underexposed and has a deep depth of field.
My favorite photo in the entire paper would have to be Holiday with Mary. I liked this photo a lot because of the great lighting and how Mary, or Maddy Sparks, interacted with Blake Pousson. This photo used balance because of the two subjects on either side of the photo.

I think being able to cover a play or musical would be fun because getting up close to the actors/actresses and capturing them in the moment is cool to see and usually has a cool background story behind it.
I would rate the photography in the newspaper a 8/10 because it had some really cool pictures as well as topics, but every once in a while a picture would seem to be over/underexposed and it would take away from the story. Other than that, I feel like majority of the photos in the newspaper are interesting and add a cool effect to the stories.
