Academic Shoot
In this photo I used rule of thirds in this photo to put the girl with the blue hair as the focus. She is the clear subject because her bright hair draws your eye to her while everyone else is looking away. If I could change anything about this photo I would reposition myself to avoid all of the many mergers in this photo.
In this photo I tried to use avoiding mergers. The main subject of this photo is the sleeping boy with the hat on because he is in the center of the photo and is the only one not looking at the teacher. If I could change anything about this picture I would angle myself a little differently to avoid Ms. Comen's head sticking out of the boy in the red shirt, but other than that I think I avoided most mergers considering that this was in a classroom

I used balance in this photo because there is one person on each side of the photo. The subject(s) of this picture are Ms. Comen and the student because they are working together to solve her homework problem. If I could make the subject clearer I would go a little bit behind Ms. Comen in order to make the student the main subject.
In this photo I used simplicity because there is one main subject of this photo with an inactive background. the girl is the the obvious subject of this photo because she is the only person in the photo.
In your top most picture your photo captured a lot of the kids emotion, but you could have found a better way to angle your camera.
ReplyDeleteI think you made a strong effort with these images to meet the assignment requirements. I think the photo of the student talking with the teacher could have been your best. It is a little tiny bit blurry because of subject movement. The other three are pretty standard images I see all the time. These aren't terrible, but I think are lacking a general focal point. Next time be brave, get close and fill the frame with action.
