Filling the Frame

This picture fills the frame the most because the sparks flying off the metal goes all over the frame. It adds a cool glowing effect to the image, and creates almost dotted lines up towards her face. 

 Action and Emotion

 This picture shows the best action because it looks as if he is writing on thin air. It creates a cool illusion to the photo and makes you wonder how he's doing it. The emotions of the faces are serious or focused, but it draws your attention to the writing when you follow their gaze.

The Story

This picture tells the best story because you can just imagine how powerful her voice is based on her facials. Her pose tells a story about overcoming something difficult and finally being able to overcome it. The scene in the background suggests that they're on a boat, and their costumes suggest that they're at a fancy occasion.

1. I picked this photo because I can relate to the topic of the photo. I like the angle that the image was taken from, and I like how the picture is simply put in black and white.
2. The photographer used lines, avoiding mergers and simplicity in this photo. The bookcases draw your attention up the photo because of their vertical lines, and nothing is cut off. Simplicity is shown here because there is one obvious subject without that many distracting features.

1. I could take photos in the library, english, and science rooms to recreate the ones I saw today.

2. I would like to take pictures in Ms. Comen's room because she is very active with her students and also has turtles and fish in her room.

3. In order to take photos like I've seen today, I need to focus on the angle and concept of the picture. This would allow me to take more interesting photos that fill the frame and tell good stories.
